phpBB Developer DavidMJ was going to join us on this episode, but due to some communication issues (mostly David and Douglas' fault), that didn't turn out. Going further down the road to the Gold Master release, phpBB3 RC-2 was released this week with no less than 113 features, changes, and bugfixes in the changelog. We will be looking at and examining the new version, and covering the best way to update to RC-2 (since we haven't had an officially supported phpBB3 update before!). In addition, the MOD Authors Convention will be going on during the episode recording. We will be covering all of the highlights from the convention in #phpbb-mod, including live updates of the discussion on phpBB MODding Documentation taking place while the show is being recorded. In addition, Douglas will offer a preview of what to expect from the 6/30 MOD Authors Convention.
