But unfortunately it all went belly up when Maf's personal life intrudes in an unavoidable fashion. Before that though, we do manage to get about an hours worth of chat. We order a pizza, discuss Man Vs Food (see video below) and a lot of other stuff. Then, during Maf's ex-wife phone call, Lee holds the fort seamlessly with some tunes. The last part of the show fills you in on what's been going on and Maf gets advice from Lynette, The Snug Lawyer! (although there is a shortage of laughs to be had in this last part).

Over 2 hours of absolute nonsense.

How could I present it to you in anything but it's total unedited glory (absolutely nothing to do with it being less work for me or the uneditable nature of a Man Cave show)

We cover a ton of stuff from chickens to young Canadian boyfriends (Hi Brad!), Walrus impressions to crotch bruises and possibly everything else in between but I'm writing these with only four hours sleep and nothing to eat all day so I'm buggered if I can remember anything of much substance.

I just remember it being bloody good fun

(You will, however, find out the answer to this equation: 16 year old + Vodka = )

Our heartfelt thanks go to our 3 wonderful guests to travelled something like 93 million miles between them to be with us. It truly is a special time when these shows happen :)

The Snug's Facebook 'Station'2011/07/13

So, if you're a 'friend' on Facebook, you'll have noticed a ton of music videos on your news feed from us. It's just a little experiment to see if we can broaden the appeal of the show to all the people who don't currently listen.
Each day has a different theme, and we'll aim to post about a song an hour between 08:00 and 18:00. This doesn't include any requests we may get (more on that later). So, here's the themes and the 'rules':

Movie Music Monday

Easy start to the week with this one...It's music...from movies. Pop songs from movies, instrumental scores, song related to movies...Anything is fair game as long as it's connected to a movie.

Tuesday Tunes

Ah...The oh-so-random Tuesday Tunes. This is anything and everything. Random assortment of whatever takes my fancy. Maybe soon, it will become 'All Request' Tuesday Tunes

One Hit Wonder Wednesdays

Songs that are considered One Hit Wonders (OHW ) either in the UK or the USA. I'm using the ever reliable Wikipedia at the moment and some US OHW had more than one hit in the UK. If we 'play' someone who wasn't a OHW in on or the other place, you don't need to tell us, we already know :)

Tributes Thursday

All cover versions, all day. As a lover of covers, at least one day had to feature them. Strange and unusual versions of familiar songs

Funtime Friday

Songs that lift your spirits and make you smile. This can include anything from uplifting tunes to parodies. Just something to kick off your weekend smiling.
