Sweet Thang was originally written by Brandon Barker as an ode to his dog. It's a true story of how he was forced to give up his poor dog Sweet Thang and how she met her untimely demise. Sweet Thang was meant to be a hard rock song, but this is a more mellow, softer version of it.
