For the release of Episode I in 1999, Star Wars fans expressed their fandom the craziest way possible: A 6-week Line Up in front of several movie theaters across the US. The concept spread, with more and more "line ups" organized around the globe.

So I'm working on a new soundtrack that I'm calling "The Good, The Bad and The Wicked". It's an updated version of THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE UGLY.

While TGBU was set against the Civil War, this story is set against the new civil war between the red states and blue states. In the background of the story is a GW-like character who is waging this ammoralisitc war against American society.

Totally random - nothing to do with STF, but I noticed this and wanted to share the observation: It's kinda like they were separated at birth....

LOST IN THE NOIZE is a soundtrack post that I created last year but just now published because Rich wanted to put this up after we had established the site and after people had a chance to understand the concept.

I think this is one of the best Rich has done. He originally created it in 1999 and I've been listening to it for 6 years now.

I updated the story for MICKEY RAT IS DEAD! This is the original story that Rich wrote 5 years ago when we first started this project. When we uploaded this soundtrack we thought we had actually lost this original version which is why the story was so short compared to the others. But it was just misplaced!

Rich found it last week when he was looking for something else and I retyped it today.

I felt I had to rush to get this soundtrack up. I've had a little downtime and needed to take the window of opportunity to assemble this soundtrack.

Rich's (true) story is about the night he and his friends took the new drug that was to become "Ecstacy". This was 1979 and Disco was in full swing in NYC.

You can consider this a "period" film, kinda the same why AMERICAN GRAFFITI was a period

It's been a long time since the last soundtrack I know. Both Rich and I have been super busy. My wife and I had our second baby, so between family and work I have had no free time and it takes about 10 to 12 hours of work to produce each soundtrack.

It is inspired by the song The Night They Invented Champagne - from the 1958 movie Gigi with words by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Frederick Loewe, (sung and danced by Leslie Caron dubbed by Betty Wand, Hermione Gingold and Louis Jourdan).
