Alex Williams and I hit record on my little Olympus digital recorder and start talking about browsers. You will have to forgive the road noise and may be a little shocked that I produced this road cast up. On the Road to Gnomedex at about 80 MPH I tell Alex he needs to get Flocked.

I really enjoy all her music but this is one of my favorites. It is so touching and well not to be too sappy but a little tugging of the heart strings might occur. This was the Podcast Hotel Party the last night of Inno Tech where we also piped in artists from Second Life. I want to see a foxyflwr Cure and Samantha Paperdoll duet. What an adventure a long line to get back into the US after Moosecamp. The car overheats and we just have to laugh. I of course started thinking about that Cheech and Chong movie where the entire truck was made of weed and started smoking at the boarder. This smoke was not as odoriferous and unfortunately from coolant spilling on to a very hot engine block. We waited in line for a very long time to get back into the United States. I really wish we could have recorded our experience with the boarder guard but that would have insured a full cavity search. FYI you must have two forms of ID to get back into the US. A birth certificate and driver’s license or passport and drivers license are required. Man they just let me into Canada with a few questions the US boarder guard really gave us a ration of crap about it. We almost ended up trapped in Canada; I really thought we were in for it when Alex said he was born in Africa but with that the boarder guard waved us on.

Blizzard in the Cascades and we end up trapped in Ritzville, WA oh my GOD! (sounds of banjo from deliverance.. bananana na nouw) its like hillbilly’s in the snow. We turn on 520 AM for road conditions, according to the sign, and all we here is this very weird track looping over and over. Nothing about weather just this creepy message click play on audio I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about it. Then some bizzaro reference to some event in the 60s followed by a station identifier over and over again. I tell you we locked the doors and my wife made me turn around and back out of the 1st exit to Ritzville.

We come to the second exit and found a LaQuinta that said they had wifi but the 60 MPH gusts of wind took it offline. HELP I have now determined that Internet connectivity is one of my basic necessities. I would go with out food for the night if I could just get some connectivity. Trying to determine if the road through the mountains in Idaho are closed but all we are catching on the news is the blizzard in the cascades, avalanches, 1-2 feet of snow, 70 MPH winds damn! We finally got the baby to sleep thank god after his first ever extended road trip. Stopping every two hours or so sure does make this a slow go but it is so cool to experience the world with the little one in my arms. So tomorrow the million dollar question is do we need chains to cross the pass? If we do we turn around and head back home vacation adventure to be continued….

I have been very lax to say the least on getting this show out. With a new baby and another show this personal podcast has taken a back seat. In this show I go over Northern Voice and the presentation I am doing. I also talk about Podcast Hotel and Gnomedex.

Well I was all excited about Mobloging using Skype but I ran into troubles.

After Alex Williams posted up our meeting I decided to finally give this Mobloging a shot and it turned out pretty darn good. This is a small snippet of me talking about the new updates for the ManyOne website and a good dialogue on Creative Commons.

I am currently working for a company called Many One located down in California. This is the most amazing experience I have ever been involved with. I can not even begin to explain to you the utterly incredible things that we are working on. In fact due to NDA I literally cant. What I can tell you is this; we will be evolving the Internet and the way that you as a consumer interact with data and rich media.

Transcending the media juggernaut of the entrenched ideologies is mission one of my Personal Media Outlet (PMO). I am throwing down the gauntlet and shouting out the cry for a new revolution in media. We all need to take control of our media diet and redefine how we consume and redistribute our media.
