After a week off, Dave and Kevin were back to taking phone calls and reading listener emails along with keeping you up with the latest news on computers and technology. Oh yeah, and an iPhone was introduced recently. I thought that was pretty cool. But that's just me, Josh, the producer of the podcast workin behind the scenes. All of those questions were answered, and yours truly (Josh) got on the show to plug Apple's wonderful goodness and Dave and Kevin didn't hang up on me quick enough! Ha! Hey Podcast subscribers, and (hopefully) future podcast subscribers, there's good news! Computer Guys Dave and Kevin are back on the radio, and back on itunes as well. It's the same show, different day though for you WHTC listeners on the West Michigan lakeshore...they are on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5pm every week so call in during that time (EST) at 616-395-1450 to ask questions or give commentary.

There's major releases on tap for Playstation and Nintendo for the gamers, and already a release from Microsoft with the new Zune player and Zune marketplace (a conversation which I HAD to call in and put my two cents in about) and of course they were takin calls and giving helpful tips. Sad to say, but the Computer Guys had to say goodbye to listeners on WHTC in Holland, and all of you guys downloading the podcast. It's been a really fun experience working with Dave and Kevin, they made the show so much more than just an average computer talk program. Download the show, it's a must, and don't completely abandon this podcast because hopefully there will be something (ideally with Dave and Kevin) that we'll put on here. As for now though, thanks everyone, and enjoy the last show.

Dave and Kevin start off the program with some necessary tips to keep up your computer so it doesn't...crash and burn. Speaking of crashing, if you did have a hard drive go bad they talk about how much it costs to get your data back, and some good stuff to know about warranties. Tune in next week, if you can to WHTC 1450 AM or just wait for the download on here because it will, sadly, be their last show...as far as we know it.

Dave was out this week, so it was me (Josh Windisch), Kevin and Carl...yes, Carl is ON the podcast because I'd have no reason to not put a show with Carl on the podcast. Anyway, there was the announcement of Amazon's new video service and some speculation about Apple offering the same thing on iTunes. Also talk about myspace because everybody seems to have one or at least know someone who has it...so check it out, download it, and TELL CARL THAT YOU HEARD HIM ON A PODCAST. :)

Big news (well, kind of) about Bill Gates retiring from Microsoft...he still will keep his spot as chairman though. Speaking of Microsoft, new office suite coming out soon (find out more by downloading).
Find out how to find out how much space you've used on your hard drive, and how to clean some things up on your PC to free up space, new macbooks have some color issues and ipods assembled in China, all that and more so listen in.

Finally, someone sends an email defending MY point of view on Macs...you know who you are, and thank you for stickin up for me since it's always two against 1! Dave was gone this weekend, but Cam came in...good ol Cam...we've missed Cam. Anyhow, they were talking about the new gaming systems along with common problems with computers and taking phone calls. Download it, it was a lively, pretty exciting show this time.

Even though at the beginning of the program they say nothing much is going on in the world of computers, there was plenty of interesting news and call-ins to listen in on, so don't turn it off right away...bad news for apple users unfortunately, but important stuff to know about, emails they didn't have a chance to get to about DSL modems and such, listener phone calls and an annoying new technology forcing you to watch TV commercials. Dave and Kevin were back again talking about the latest in computer-related news along with taking phone calls at 616-395-1450 and reading a couple emails they had (along with the spam emails too, those provide endless amounts of entertainment...sometimes) computerguys@whtc.com There also was way too much talk about dishwashers...and other various things, it was an interesting morning...downlaod for more!

It's incredible...Dave and Kevin both on the air together!! And they totally got punked by the Holland Sentinel too, which was awesome! (haha). They're once again keepin you entertained and informed with news and the sharing of frustration among confused computer owners. They're talking about the new iPod volume control, a possible increase in speed with bluetooth, and talking to callers about Windows XP and Vista. It seriously is a great show (especially since I got to talk about the iPod) this time and it'd be terrible for you to miss it, so download now! -Josh

Computer Guys back again, although Dave couldn't make it unfortunately. Kevin, Cam, and myself (producer Josh) had a lively discussion about tech support and how a lot of it is going over to India, Windows Vista taking forever to come out (it just better not crash constantly), and as always we went to the phone lines too. By the way, that number again...!!! 616-395-1450 !!! (We do greatly apologize for getting into things so much that we forgot to mention the number as much as usual). Listen in though, it's a fun one to listen to!

Ever wonder how to save your "favorites" in Internet Explorer? Somebody called and that question was answered, we find out that searching your computer and the internet might be easier than before with MSN/Microsoft, and most exciting this week probably--The announcement of the Microsoft Origami, you can find out about that and more just by downloading....oh, oh yeah, and it's the producer (Josh)'s 21st birthday but don't tell anybody.

Good news for Blackberry owners out there, Dave and Kevin talk about the lawsuit that had been keeping blackberry users on their toes. Also a look into the new Windows OS (Vista)...why in the world are there so many different versions though? There's more DSL talk, and do you get a bunch of emails that try to get you to forward them on so some kid named Timmy can have his left arm replaced (or something like that)? Find out how you can tell what emails are real and what aren't, and of course phone calls and more!

As much as I hate to say it, there's.....new viruses are out for macintosh computers, on a positive note though the winner for the 1 billionth itunes song download has been announced. The Thinkpad transition to Lenovo was discussed, along with more fightin words about Macs and what's a TV doing in a refrigerator?...seriously, why? Oh, and if you have a cell phone listen up because there's plenty of viruses...for cell phones going around. Download to find out more!

The show is complete again; Kevin is back! Dave broke his thumb and of course he claims it was in a rugged basketball game (everyone else thinks it was from playing too many video games).
