Adobe Labs has released the first beta of a new, intuitive sound editing application called Soundbooth . Announced features include: Editing audio quickly Cleaning up noisy audio Visually identifying and removing unwanted sounds Recording and polishing voiceovers Adding effects and filters Easily creating customized music—without musical expertise. The final product release is tentatively schedule for mid-2007 but the beta is available now (for free) for both Windows and OS X (Intel only). If you're serious about podcasting you owe it to yourself (and your show) to get this as soon as possible.

The second annual Podcast Expo is over and you've probably already heard all the details from other shows and forums so in this edition I'm going to focus on the top three products I saw at the show and which every podcaster should be aware of.
