Presenting Your iPhone or iPod Touch
2007/11/21
I've been using a PED stand from Thought Out for my iPods for years so I definitely recommend the PED3 iPhone stand (or iPod Touch) . They get your iPhone off the desk, away from scratches, and into view where it belongs. Check them out.

The Best $100 You Can Spend On Podcasting
2006/10/19
Info (Show/Hide)
The audio from the paid conference sessions at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo is now available: http://pa.gigavox.com/series/ppme.html For $100 ($99.99, but let's be realistic) you get 39 audio files in MP3 format, or around 38 hours of audio. The content is excellent, the audio quality is great, and at around $2.50 an hour you can't beat the price. If you're serious about podcasting you owe it to yourself (and your show) to get this as soon as possible.

We Don't Need No Stinkin' Transmitters! (Repost)
2006/01/30
Info (Show/Hide)
Every so often I get requests asking where to find the MP3 for "We don't need no stinkin' transmitters," so here it is again. This is a short, 192Mbps parody of the "We don't need no stinkin' badges" line originally from the movie The Treasure of the Sierra Madre and later made famous in Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles and by John Belushi's killer bee in Saturday Night Live. You can see and hear the original and its variations here:
http://www.darryl.com/badges
I did it for kicks one night a while ago and thought it was an appropriate battle cry for podcasters! Feel free to use this as you see fit in your own podcast.
This work is dedicated to the Public Domain . No Stinkin' Transmitters Craig Patchett
