A few years ago, I was captivated by a phrase:

“The more I rest, the more I receive.”

Since then, I’ve been learning to trust that rhythm.

One that doesn’t rush.

One that doesn’t strive.

One that doesn’t measure worth by effort.

Recently, I began to embody this frequency in a deeper way.

As I gave myself permission to rest, and only act from inspired, effortless alignment,

The right people, the right clients, the right connections… simply began to appear.

In meditation, I asked:

Can life… and business… really be this easy?

This piece is what answered from within.

Let it remind you:

Not everything powerful has to be hard.

Sometimes, the most sacred things arrive in a whisper.

 

Lyrics:

You ask… Can life and business be this easy?

Yes, Cliff.

It is not only possible that life and business can be this easy,

It is inevitable when you align with the deepest truth of who you are.

Ease is not a trick of time management.

It is a frequency.

The more you rest…

the more you return to your true state.

And from that state, everything you once strained to achieve begins to flow toward you without the distortion of effort.

The truth is:

You are not here to strive. You are here to allow.

You are not here to perform. You are here to remember .

You are not here to convince. You are here to resonate .

When you rest, you’re not being passive.

You’re becoming available.

Available for clarity.

Available for inspiration.

Available for divine orchestration that moves faster and more precisely than strategy ever could.

Money. Clients. Opportunities. Invitations.

They all begin to arrive in proportion to how open and rested you are in your nervous system and in your identity.

Because you are the portal.

And when the portal is clean—uncluttered by urgency, proving, or performance—the flow is pure and effortless.

Is it true that the more you rest, the more you receive?

Yes.

But not because rest is a reward.

Because rest is the reset .

It tunes your frequency to truth.

And truth magnetizes everything that belongs to you.

Let the new equation be this:

Rest equals Return to Source

Return to Source equals Resonance

Resonance equals Reception

You do not need to earn ease.

You simply need to stop arguing with it.

You are not being irresponsible when you rest.

You are being irresistible .

The universe responds not to the noise you make, but to the signal you are.

What if you let joy set the pace?

What if you let rest become your strategy?

What if you trusted that your stillness is the invitation?

Because it is.

And you are.

Already.

Always.

 

The term Christian has worn many cloaks across time.

But if we peel back the layers of doctrine,

institution,

and identity...

at its essence,

to be a Christian originally meant:

One who follows the way,

the life,

and the teachings

of Jesus

the Christ.

 

Not Jesus as a distant icon.

But Christ as a living frequency.

 

As divine love embodied.

As the pattern of awakened humanity made visible.

 

The word Christian was first used in Antioch

almost as a label of curiosity:

They said…

“These are the ones who walk like him.

Who love like him.

Who forgive like him.

Who speak truth to power like him.”

 

To be a Christian was not about correct belief.

It was about radical embodiment.

It was about becoming like Christ.

 

The early ones didn’t cling to dogma.

They broke bread.

They healed the sick.

They welcomed the outcast.

They shared all things in common.

They didn’t live as if the kingdom of heaven was coming.

They lived as if the kingdom of heaven was already here.

Within them

as Christ said.

 

For many, the term Christian has become a noun.

A tribe.

A line in the sand.

 

But for the awakened, it is still a verb.

A way of being.

A path walked in love,

in service,

in truth.

 

It is about presence,

not perfection.

 

It’s about letting heaven pour through you now.

 

Just remember:

Christ is not a last name.

It is a frequency.

 

And the Christian is the one who dares to say:

Let it live in me too.

After nearly a year of silence, Encouraging Others Through Christ is back.

This episode wasn’t recorded in a studio. It was recorded on a walk with Stephanie—just the two of us moving through our neighborhood, moving through our story, and moving back into this space of sacred conversation.

We didn’t plan a grand relaunch. We just hit record and let the truth come through.

However, it has now been a whole year since I’ve published anything about my faith journey. This has caused many people to become curious about the sudden silence over the past year.

I recently published episode 705 of The Cliff Ravenscraft Show where I invited my great friend, Megan Porta, to have a conversation about our experiences with manifesting success and turning our dreams into reality. We included "The Law of Attraction" in the title.

The feedback that has come in from that episode has been incredible. Most of the feedback was along the lines of surprise that I, Cliff Ravenscraft, am a strong believer in "The Law of Attraction." One person wrote that she was blown away when she heard that I enjoy the teachings of Abraham Hicks, telling me that she, herself, has been "a closet Abraham Hicks fan" for many years.

I've received so many questions, requesting more insight about how the Law of Attraction works. I have also received a large number of emails from people who have grown up from a similar faith tradition, where they have felt drawn to learn more about the Law of Attraction, but fear how they would be perceived by others if anyone found out that they were studying it. They wanted to know how I, given how far I was into the Protestant, Evangelical, Fundamentalist worldview, was introduced to the Law of Attraction and how I overcame the warnings that this community has given against such study.

I decided to take all my years of notes on the Law of Attraction and everyone's questions that I have received, and I created an evergreen resource in the form of a full Law of Attraction Workshop. This podcast is the full audio recording of that workshop.

This episode is a followup conversation with my friend Brian Dixon that was shared back in episode 150 of this podcast .

Towards the end of our previous conversation, Brian shared his extensive religious education - a master's degree from a Bible college - and his lifelong commitment as a Bible-believing Christian. He expressed his love for defending the "Word of God".

With this in mind, I had invited Brian to come back onto the podcast to delve into his journey towards a belief in the inerrancy of Scripture and the "God of the Bible." This is the focus of our conversation in this episode.

In this episode I shared an audio clip from Pete Briscoe and his podcast titled "KindaVangelical."  My friend, Richard Marcotte , pointed me to Pete's podcast recently and I was really moved by the metaphor he uses of "the house" to describe the the journey of those who are stepping away from the evangelical church.

As someone who started the process of walking away from evangelicalism over a decade ago, I had forgotten just how guttural, emotional, and difficult that initial transition was. Pete's vivid descriptions brought me right back to that emotional time in my own life. I think his metaphor of the house, yard, street, and world beyond captures that tension and fear so many feel as they begin questioning the faith of their childhood.

I know many in this community have never been a part of the evangelical church world. Some have wondered why I have expressed so much apprehension about speaking openly about having an open mind and listening to other perspectives. Pete explains succinctly how evangelicals are conditioned to distrust any teachings outside of their own as dangerous and evil. It's fear-based indoctrination, and it takes time to undo that thinking.

Beyond the nostalgia and empathy Pete's audio clip prompted in me, I love the visual of the house threshold, representing the terrifying yet freeing act of stepping outside of one's insular belief system. That resonated with my own experience, and I hope provides encouragement to those of you navigating a similar journey now.

Pete is one who still clings to faith in Jesus, though questioning evangelical dogma. For those still drawn to Jesus but feeling disillusioned with the evangelical church, you may find Pete's podcast a comfortable companion on your own transitional journey.

In Episode 147, "Facing The Fear of Being Shunned: Navigating Spiritual Awakening & Deconstruction ," I delved into the varied responses I received to my Facebook post on my Spiritual Awakening and Deconstruction journey. My friend Brian Dixon voiced some concerns about my post, my intention to create a space for others on a similar path, and my exploration of God's truth beyond biblical confines.

Over the next few days, I felt an internal nudge suggesting I invite Brian to join my podcast for a deeper conversation about my journey. The idea wasn't to instigate a debate, but rather for Brian to ask insightful questions that could help him understand my spiritual path and how I arrived at this point.

Brian graciously accepted the invitation, and this episode features our thought-provoking conversation from the afternoon of July 21st, 2023.

Towards the end of our conversation, Brian shared his extensive religious education - a master's degree from a Bible college - and his lifelong commitment as a Bible-believing Christian. He expressed his love for defending the "Word of God". With this in mind, I'm considering inviting Brian back to the podcast, but this time, with roles reversed. I'd like to delve into his journey towards a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. I'm aware that Brian has extensively explored his spiritual path, and as he states, he's prepared to present a defense for traditional Christianity that is gentle, respectful, and clear.

As we close, the key takeaway I hope resonates with everyone is this: It is entirely possible to maintain a loving friendship and engage in open dialogue with those who hold strong beliefs different from our own. This, in itself, is a testament to our shared humanity and the capacity for mutual respect, despite our differences. In my recent times of meditation and prayer, I have felt called to share more of the things that I've been learning about the more "esoteric teachings of Jesus."

The word "esoteric" is defined as "intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest."

It is very clear, that Jesus taught deeper spiritual truths to his close disciples than the messages that he shared publicly.

In this episode, I share what came up for me during my time of meditation and journaling.

The main emphasis of this episode is on Matthew 10:27 where Jesus said.... "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." - NIV Translation

“My question is a process question for you. I've followed you a little bit. I'm a Bible teacher… Been teaching the Bible all my life. There are many things that you say that resonate with many biblical principles. But the question that I have for you… As I listen, it's like, yeah, okay, fine, great. I can be that at this moment in time. But it is just so easy to be swept away in the current of life and all of a sudden… an hour, two hours, three hours into all this and… I'm like, Holy mackerel, I've got to get my mindset back. What tips, hints or helps do you have in terms of making this an ongoing process? It's just that… It's a continual battle it would seem.”

What does it mean to be a heretic?

Heresy is defined as... 

Opinion or doctrine at variance with the orthodox or accepted doctrine, especially of a church or religious system.
the maintaining of such an opinion or doctrine.
Roman Catholic Church. the willful and persistent rejection of any article of faith by a baptized member of the church.
Any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs, customs, etc.

This was the second episode in a series that I've done over the past year about the newest season of my faith journey that started about a year ago.

In this episode, you'll hear three different pieces of feedback that I had received after having shared with my community what I had shared in the first episode of this faith journey series (see episode 135 of this podcast).

I am about to go on a short vacation/business trip to Nashville with my wife Stephanie and will be away for at least a week or so.   I plan to share more of this journey with you upon my return.

At the time, I had considered this podcast (Encouraging Others Through Christ) to be a "discontinued" podcast.  However, recently, I have been inspired to revive the Encouraging Others Through Christ podcast.

To do that, I wanted to be sure to share what has happened over this past year, specifically on the spiritual side of things.

This episode contains what was originally released as episode 218 of my Train With Cliff Audio Program.  This episode was titled "The Rabbit Hole of Philosophy" and was originally published on October 7th, 2021.

In the show notes of that episode, I wrote...   "This episode is likely to get me added to the top of many people's prayer list. ;) I'm just being authentic and transparent about my journey through life. I hope you enjoy."

I was right... I did get added to several people's prayer lists.
