Back with a new volume of the original Hidden Cove Series. The concept was originally conceived about 10 years ago, dedicated to chill urban sounds. Eclectic-ism is what Ivan had in mind when composing different volumes. Volumes 1-9 can be found via Mixcloud page & we are very excited to have Ivan resurrect the series & move into the future. After a long break we are back, re-invented & ready to start a new chapter for the Hidden Cove Podcast! This is our very first "Housecast" & boy do we have a special treat!

At the tender age of 17, Ivan landed his very first record store job in his hometown of Salinas, Ca. Here he was musically schooled, as the "mom & pop" record store carried a variety of music ranging from jazz to punk & everything in between. Of course, House Music was always on the agenda! He worked there from circa 98' to 00' & met a lot of the local community of dj's in the surrounding area.

This mix is a tribute to The Music Zone, all selections were purchased while he worked there & or till the record store was in business.
